during the trip, my camera died on me. tats why.
the Serdang trip was such an eye-opening experience
4 days - good yet gruelling
first thing first...
tour guides : almost non existant
all the while i didnt knw we had tour guides. i tot they were participants
... no introduction....
... didnt act like normal tour guides...
there's no '...ok, skarang kita akan ke....',
'..kita akan tiba pada pukul ....',
'..kita akan jumpa di sini pada pukul enam petang...'
'...bangunan ini telah dibina pada tahun....'
-u knw the stuffs tour guides supposed to do
oh well...
first nite at a hotel (Chow Kit area) - shall not mention name
not a hotel i will go / or even spend a nite in
1. no remote control
2. i can pull out the taps
3. flush dont work
4. room smells
enuff said.

one place i will mention and recommend is
to be more precise, Fire Fly Farm in Kuala Selangor (abt an hr's drive frm KL)
this place is great. and the experience - BREATHTAKING!!
its near a river, the place is in complete darkness
u take a slow river ride
and u see thousands of fire flies at the bushes
it was such a view
it looks like Geylang during raya season
only difference - tis is au natural
total darkness, only lit by the fire flies and the moon
and the most interesting fact is..
u cannot take a photo or vdeo-cam it
simply because... even if u do
NOTHING appears on your photo
nothing except the bush
with NO sight of the fire flies
- im not joking!
a fren did take a photo of a very lit-up bush
and wat comes out is jus the sillhouette of the bush
fascinating, isnt it?
u juz hv to b there to experience it.

we attended lectures gvn by the lecturers there.
about how to teach vocab, about MI.. and others
their experience during teaching...
it was an eye-opener
the S'pore cikgus did sharing too
shared abt how they teach karangan, seerti the fun way
usage of e-books
usage of FlipAlbum (very gd software)
it was a wholesome experience.

went to Melaka Tropical Fruit Farm.
i tot it was juz a normal fruit farm wic had..... fruits
but no... i was sooo wrong.
tis fruit farm is incorporated with the Institut Pertanian.
its a huge plc.
where there are so many different kinds of plantations
trees/plants tat ive nvr seen before, only heard
(im waiting for the pics, hence no pics here)
plants, herbs,... u name it, they hv it
herbs tat are gd for diabetes, gd for toxification
i saw the 'Harum Sundal Malam' plant
interesting. nice white flower.
was told tat arnd midnite, the plant gives off a very
sweet smell.
as i quote from the guide 'wangi yang menggerikan'
and i wonder.......
a true eye-opener
on the whole, the trip was very worthwhile
the experience and the knowledge gained.... fantastique
i was very fortunate to be able to go on this trip knowing that i've just been posted
and i'm sooo new.
all i can say is.... thnx Ckg Naim Daipi.
